This coming Sunday September 10th will be fire and rescue day
at the track.
Life flight and other area rescue vehicles are coming.
This will be a
non point race for the 4 stroke quads.
Sept 4th
Congratulations to all the winners on Monday:
Shane Spinneweber, Rob Weckerly and Ed Deal.
Youth winners were Gregory Sherwin, Matt Marsh and Morgan Miller in her
first ever appearance at Shadetree Speedway.
August 20th
The weather was perfect on Sunday at the track. Victory lane
had Matt
Schaeffer in the quads, Mike Miller in the heavy kart division and
Shane Spinneweber in the light kart division. Gregory
Sherwin won both
the cage and racing kart youth 9-11 age groups
and Randi Lynn
Bertolini was the 12-15 cage kart winner. Stock
tractor feature
winner was Josh Bertolini. Congratulations to all the
winners.
Super tractors were not feature this week since they were
racing at the
Crawford County Fair. The drivers had a good time
and put on a
great show for the crowds to see. This coming Sunday
will be a
regular show.
August 13th
This week's feature winners were Matt Thompson in the stock
tractor.
Shane Spinneweber in the light karts. John Sofko won the
quad feature
race. Steve Ace was took the checker for the super
tractors and
Steve Dorenkamp for the heavy karts. Youth winners
this week was
Gregory Sherwin for the 9-11 age group. Joey Deal
was the winner
for the 12-15 youth division. Congratulations to all.
News and Notes
This Sunday will be Lernerville Day at the track.
We are currently talking to the stars of Lernerville Speedway and will
post a list as soon as they confirm. We will have autograph sessions,
car displays, and celebrity races, so join us this Sunday.
Shadetree Nationals
This Labor Day, Shadetree Speedway will host the
3rd annual Shadetree Nationals. Classes this year will include open
tractors, a combined Kart class, quads, and all youth classes. Races
will begin at normal time of 1:30. Gates will be $5.00. More info will
be posted soon.
August 6th
Sunday
winners for the stock tractor was Matt Thompson and
Steve Ace in the
supers. Derrick Davidson return to victory lane in
the light karts
while Steve Dorenkamp was the winner for the heavy
division.
Donny Stevenson took the checker for the quad class.
Youth winners
were Gregory Sherwin in the 9-11 cage division.
Tanner Murray
was the 12-15 age group winner and Bradly Shaffer
won the feature
for the 9-11 racing karts. All the youths that ran the
bike races
recieved extra money thanks to Larry Boyle Auto Repair
donated.
July 30th
Another hot
Sunday with the rain holding off till evening had the day starting with
make up features from last week. Darin Gallagher had
his first win of
the season the light karts. Joey Deal, Anthony Doren
kamp, Gregory
Sherwin, and Austin Brocious were the youth winners. Ed Deal had
his first career win in the quad division and
Toby Good
captured his first win in the light kart division. Levi
Spinneweber won
in the heavy karts, Steve Ace won the stock
tractor
division. The youth classes had repeat winners with Gregory
Sherwin, Anthony
Dorenkamp, Austin Brocious and Joey Deal
taking the
checker flag.
July 16
The extreme heat
brought a new winner in the quad division, John
Sofko capture
his first win at the track. Steve Ace from Parker won
the stock
tractor and Mike Miller from Chicora won the super tractor races.
Shane Spinneweber from Butler was the feature
winner in the
light kart division and Christine Thompson won the
heavy class
division. Nathan Ehrman was the winner in the younger
youth division
and Anthony Dorenkamp claimed the checkered flag
in the older
youth division class.
July 9th
Mother nature
was perfect. Congratulations to all the
winners this
week, Matt Thompson in the stocks, Steve Ace in the
Super Modifieds,
Levi Spinneweber in light karts and Christine
Thompson in
heavy weight karts. Dwayne Shindledecker
return this week
to take the win in the 2 stroke quad, while Donny
Steveson won
again in the 4 stroke's. Billy Potter won the younger
youth cage cart
and Joey Deal won the 12-15 age group. Larry Boyle Auto Repair
donated money to the point leader for half-way thru the season to Josh
Bertolini. Thanks also to Thompson's Alternator's Service for
donating cups to all the kids bike winners and Deal's Trucking for
donating money to the power
wheel racers.
RAIN AGAIN
(June 4, 2006)
Rain again was the only thing making turns at Shadetree Speedway this
weekend. A heavy downpour came through the track at around 11 AM and
KO'ed the speedway. Join us again next Sunday for more action.
